I got into a fight with my sister today. My pregnant sister. She is getting married next month, and I still don't have shoes for my dress. I went to the mall with my mom and my sister...she chose silver shoes that look something like an old lady would wear. Not even nice old lady dress shoes...they looked like someone took a pair of old lady slippers and dipped them into shiny silver paint. I refused to wear them and we got into a fight. I tried them on and they are comfortable (which is the only thing she was concerned about), but they are UGLY!! The problem is that my bridesmaid dress is knee length, so the shoes would be on display for everyone to see.

A New Wandering

I have decided to jump on the blog bandwagon.

I realized that I just wander through my life...no actual plan or direction. I have decided to wander in a new direction. My life has been changing a lot, is more like it, and I have decided to try to take the reigns and lead me onto a more positive route.

The first change is that I got a J-O-B!!!! First job in 6 years :) :) :) Don't get me wrong, it's not like I haven't worked in 6 years, I have been a stay at home mom. I have two beautiful children, but I can't do JUST that anymore...I am going to go crazy! I realized I was going to go crazy when I calmly explained the process of going crazy to my 5 year old daughter. When I finished explaining to her why I would someday wake up without any hair, I realized I had officially lost it! ha ha So I got a job. I am officially the assistant cheerleading coach for the local high school. I was really hoping for head coach, but since I don't have any actual coaching experience I got the next best thing. Anyhow, very excited about it all. I was a cheerleader in high school, and it was a very important aspect of my life. I want to be able to have a positive influence in the way my favorite coach (MM) had on me.
I also signed up to be an assistant coach for my daughter's t-ball team. Not exactly sure when that starts, but it'll be an experience to say the least. For starters, I don't know anything about t-ball AND after signing up and paying the fee for my daughter to play, she informs me she absolutely does NOT want to play. Oh well...she's playing, period.

And I will be going back to college. FINALLY got my school debt paid off, so I can get more loans. Anyhow, I will be going back this summer :) Accounting!
I <3 MATH!!

I learned some time ago that my sister is going to have a baby. So I am going to be an AUNT! SOOOO excited about that, and yesterday I learned that she is going to have a boy. Now I have to get knitting all sorts of blue baby garb.

Also, it's probably important for people to know that I am married. We have a unique situation. He's in the military, but he's not deployed. He lives in Japan and I live in Ohio. It's a huge complicated story that maybe I will go into someday, but for now, let's just say that it was a huge paperwork mess up (happens a lot in the Army). Anyhow, I love him to death and can't wait until we can live together again. I haven't seen him in 11 months, so it's been a long time for everything....hugs, kisses, and you know what. My daughter misses him like crazy, and my son knows him as the voice on the other end of the phone line. :( Soon enough, we'll be back together again.

Anyhow, my life has changed a lot over the past year, and especially the past couple of weeks. But I am taking the reigns!
